Each highlight keeps 240 characters either side of it, so you remember where it came from.
Notes of your own
Add a note with an optional title, in the same Library as your highlights.
Export it
Export to Markdown or JSON, saved to your device. The default format is a setting.
Clear out safely
Delete by kind (highlights, notes or both) and by age (everything, or older than 3 months, 6 months or a year). Skimora shows the exact count and offers a backup first.
Recent reads
A history of the pages and documents you read, newest first, up to 250. Delete one, or clear all of it.
No cap, no expiry
Highlights and notes have no limit and never expire. Manage Storage shows what is using space.

Where are my highlights stored?
On your device, in the browser. Skimora has no account and uploads nothing.
How do I get my highlights out?
Export the Library to Markdown or JSON from the Library page.
Will they disappear?
No. Highlights and notes have no cap and no expiry. Removing the extension deletes its local data, so export a backup first if you plan to.
