PDFs and EPUBs are worse
Extensions can't reach into Chrome's built-in PDF viewer, so nothing can guide your eyes there. Running headers and page numbers cut into every paragraph.

Questions about PDF and EPUB reader
Can Skimora read scanned PDFs?
No. It reads the text inside a PDF. A scanned PDF has no text inside, only images of pages.
Can I export a bolded PDF?
No. You can export a bolded EPUB, and the button is disabled for PDFs with an explanation.
Where are my documents stored?
On your device, in the browser. Nothing is uploaded. Skimora keeps the most recent files so you can reopen them, and marks older ones "needs re-import".
